Let us introduce ourselves to you! We are a Dutch Australian couple who met in the year 2002 and have been cycling around Europe together since 2005.
Since we started, our trips have been getting longer & longer and further away from home. As a result, our dream of cycling around the world has developed and become a reality. However, to do this involved alot of planning and some money. Since 2005, while living & working in Amsterdam, we decided to save what we could.
We have built this website with the purpose for our family and friends to keep intouch & hopefully for others to get inspired with what we are doing and to know that nothing is impossible!
Most importantly though, we would like to have a meaning behind this trip besides doing it for our own accomplishments and dreams. Since we both have had the tradgedy of cancer in our families we would like to create awareness for this horrific disease. We have dedicated a link on this website for people to have a better understanding of cancer and also to make a donation to the cancer foundation to assist with research, which will contribute to future developments and hopefully save more lives.
